This commercial ran for a while last summer, and it has resurfaced...I saw it three times last night in about an hour.
In the aptly coined "companion piece" to the Trident ad, frequent reader David Southwell contributes this HIGHLY interesting new Smirnoff advert.
Perhaps one should ask Cthulthu before disturbing his lunchtime nap. I see his minion was off to stab the annoying humans with his trident.
ReplyDeleteOr attempt to inject the octopus with a Tridentity chip.
Which po sideon are u on?
Have you seen the Smirsh commercial called by the ad house 'Extreme Purification' where the lost flights of the Bermuda Triangle and all the world's junk is expelled from the ocean? An essential companion piece to this one.
ReplyDeleteDavid: NO I have not seen this! Is it available? I'd love to see it.
ReplyDeleteaferrismoon: funny stuff Mate! I like that
I saw it for the first time at the cinema recently and again at the cinema today. This is the closet version to the UK cinema cut.

David! Lovely find...a million well-wishes to you sir
ReplyDeleteRyan "Seacrest" has been near the top at google entertainment for three days... http://news.google.com/?ncl=1119697568&hl=en&topic=e
ReplyDeleteKinda interesting.
Yeah, I think Seacrest was asked to host the Emmy's or something over the weekend...puts him high on the "news?" food-chain
ReplyDeleteAnti-magnetism or Cthuthu saying : Hiding it under the waves is not dealing with waste
ReplyDeleteI find the purification concept difficult as, for example, vodka = a mixture of elemnts.
A pure race involves inbreeding and then specialization . Humans as general systems operators and information harvesters cannot entertain purity, we require cross-breeding to exist in evolving-involving Universe, otherwise we would find ourselves bred for one specific situation which due to time would pass and render us obsolete.
The fervent call this endtimes, judgement day or varieties of such and openly display purity while imagining in the context of the ads music
I find the magnetism in the commercial one of the interesting aspects of this one.
ReplyDeleteI find both adverts truly frightening... I suppose this is what happens when you don't own a TV.
ReplyDeleteI can understand Ben. I have always tried to maintain a TV to "keep an eye" on them. As intrusive as that box is, I feel it works both ways...it tells me as much (if not more) about them as it does about myself (or more likely) those around me.
