3. The Hotels Taj Mahal & TRIDENT Oberoi reopen for the first time since the Mumbai Massacre.
4. 4 years until the hyped Mayan End Date of December 21st, 2012

How interesting that the ritual formally ends, as it were, on the Solstice. Great little update, Todd, thanks a lot. (And cheers for linking the Mumbai article. The complete investigation- all the Daily Behemoth articles edited together- will be much longer, but this is a good introduction to some of the themes therein, I feel.)

Given the nature of certain suggested targets in Mumbai the connect to Hanukkah...
