"Mr. Heath Ledger died as the result of acute intoxication by the combined effects of oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam, and doxylamine," the office said in a short statement.
"We have concluded that the manner of death is accident, resulting from the abuse of prescription medications."
This is the OFFICIAL statement based upon the toxicology report on Heath Ledger which was just now released (the findings were supposed to be released yesterday but were postponed). That's quite a cocktail (or cock-tale depending on your point of view)...personally, I never expected much more than a straight-forward drug related cause of death but I am convinced there is more to this story than we'll ever truly know. Some interesting developments over the past week are worth noting however. Towards the end of the day on Friday, February 1st former fiancee' Michelle Williams finally made a public statement about the death of her daughter's father saying "My HEART is BROKEN"...". This comment (not unlike the Jack Nicholson one) could be viewed in a couple of ways after unconfirmed reports of cocaine and heroin addiction had led to the split between the two Hollywood stars. Also, it was only two days later that Tom Petty and the HEARTBREAKERS dusted themselves off to participate in the traditional Super Bowl Halftime sex ritual...three of the four songs performed by Petty and the Heartbreakers that evening were from the album "Full Moon Fever"...January 22nd, 2008 was the first full moon of the year, and the day that Heath Ledger passed away. For more on the halftime ritual see Concrete Junkyards post "Super Bowl 42/Tom Petty update"
One story which hasn't received much play but I also find interesting is one that deals with an individual who had been posing as Heath's father Kim Ledger. It seems that the person responsible is either quite CRAFTY, well connected or BOTH; as he was able to obtain the direct phone numbers of multiple A-List celebrities in order to perpetrate his supposed "scam". Two of the names, whom had almost immediately been contacted by the hoaxer as news broke of Mr. Ledger's passing struck me as unusual...Tom Cruise and John Travolta. Their connections to Heath Ledger?, unknown...their connection to one another?; they are both HIGHLY visible Scientologists. PLEASE take a look at the story below...I believe the details of Heath Ledger's death are buried somewhere between the lines. Was this a "so-called" hoax or a well organized counterstrike in the actual WAR that is underway between Scientology and the generic ANONYMOUS?
I know it's often difficult for many people to even remember what day it is, and news stories seem to fade into oblivion after a day or two...but for the awoken, let's refresh ourselves and think back over the weeks leading up to, and after Heath's supposed "accident". Consider the timing of these events.
Andrew Morton's book (released between Jan. 14-18) Tom Cruise: An Unauthorized Biography is released. In the book, Mr. Morton suggests that Tom Cruise is second in command of The Church of Scientology...among other things.
On January 16th a 9-min. segment from a 2004 Organizational video of Tom Cruise discussing Scientology "leaked" onto the internet causing COS to file copyright lawsuits.
Then this on January 24th, 2008 [source: http://www.news.com/8301-13577_3-9857280-36.html?tag=newsmap]
UPDATE: Google representatives informed CNET News.com on Thursday that this "internal issue with Google Translate" has been fixed.
Gawker has unearthed a rather odd bug in the Google Translate software: its English-to-Spanish translator converts the name of the actor Heath Ledger, who died tragically on Tuesday, to the name of another actor--Tom Cruise. So if you enter in "I will miss Heath Ledger," Google Translate will come back with "Voy a perder Tom Cruise."This looks like a simple bug in the system, perhaps the work of a bored Googler somewhere in the world. It only affects the English-to-Spanish translation; translations from English into other languages leave "Heath Ledger" intact, and "Tom Cruise" remains "Tom Cruise" in a Spanish-to-English translation. And the bug only appears to apply to the name "Heath Ledger," as substituting a number of other actors' names (Owen Wilson, John Travolta, Russell Crowe, Jake Gyllenhaal) also fails to yield "Tom Cruise."
January 26th, 2008...Australia Day festivities take place in New York. A large contingent of Aussie's just happen to be in town less than 4 days after fellow countryman Ledger passes in his SoHo apartment. A rather devestating sync...January 30th, 2008...10 California based Scientology addresses receive Anthrax-hoax letters in the mail.

Very interesting indeed...
I noted the phrase 'presented by Westfield' on the bottom of the Australia Day billboard with a slight shudder.
This group is spreading like a virus throughout NZ & Australia - taking over every shopping mall in their wake.
I wonder if they have a link to scientology.
Jesus, you're a synchromystic pit bull, Todd. Glad you're on our side. That's stunning - the "confusion" of Ledger with Cruise. Still processing...
Curiouser and curiouser. Amazing work. None of the six drugs in his system are all that uncommon. I suppose we'll never know if Ledger realized that he was taking repeat doses of more or less the same substances. Codone, codone, zepam, zepam, zolam, like Batman sound effects.
WAIT-A-MINUTE...
Was Heath Ledger a Scientologist?
I do not know or think that Heath was a Scientologist, nor was I attempting to imply it either...but I would suggest that there might be a war going on in Hollywood between those IN and those OUT (or even just sympathetic)...
If Heath was he would NOT have been taking all those prescriptions.
It just dawned on me that Heath died of the same kind of "random" death that the Jack Nicholson Joker foisted on Gotham in Tim Burton's Batman: a combination of products, harmless when used individually, but when randomly brought together, created Smilex. Smile X. Damn... that's creepy.
Hmm, very GOOD Michael...I can always count on you. And, not unlike what most other products ARE likely doing to us anyway.
I am not familiar with Westfield wise woman...maybe you could check into that for us!
Brings "Cloverfield" to mind however...
Interesting idea - will do.
In Tokyo at the moment to hear a talk by David Icke, so will get on to it when I get back.
That was a good point Michael made.
Some info on Westfield as promised:
The Westfield Group is an Australian company that claims to be the largest retail property group in the world by equity market capitilisation - basically it's a shopping centre giant.
It owns & operates shopping centres in Australia, NZ, USA & UK.
It either builds from scratch or aggressively acquires & revamps existing mall properties, aiming at wealthier consumers.
The first centre opened in Blacktown, Sydney in 1959.
It is still chaired by one of its two founders, Frank Lowy, a Hungarian Jew and Australia's second richest man. He is a "Companion of the Order of Australia" & is member of the Reserve Bank of Australia.
In May 2007, he faced an Israeli police investigation over a corruption scandal involving Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. The charges were dropped.
In May 2001 Westfield paid US$127 million for a 99 year lease on the retail area beneath the World Trade Centre in New York.
In Sept 2003 they received US$17.3 million as part of an insurance payout & in Dec 2003 they sold their interest to the Port Authority.
On 7 Jan this year they signed a Letter of Intent with those same Port Authorites to acquire an interest in the retail premises at the WTC site.
They will invest up to US$625 million in development costs.
Their appearance on the Australia Day banner in New York can perhaps be seen to have more sgnificance.
