The End of America

Author and third-wave feminist Naomi Wolf spoke late last year in support of her Sept. 2007 book entitled "The End of America: A Letter of warning to a young Patriot" on the 10 Steps of Fascism, and how the United States has been moving through them. This is a pretty mainstream approach but certainly right on the money. And although I find Ms. Wolf to be naive given that she really only seems to point fingers at neo-con/right wing of America, and that she clings to a democracy that really never belonged to us in the first place; it does show that more and more people might be awakening to the larger agenda. Bravo! Worth a watch at 47 mins.

  1. Invoke a terrifying internal and external enemy.
  2. Create secret prisons where torture takes place.
  3. Develop a thug caste or paramilitary force not answerable to citizens.
  4. Set up an internal surveillance system.
  5. Harass citizens' groups.
  6. Engage in arbitrary detention and release.
  7. Target key individuals.
  8. Control the press.
  9. Declare all dissent to be treason.
  10. Suspend the rule of law.

Thanks to my beloved long time friend Shawn in Portland for emailing this to me.

Listened to your Jan17 Kentroversy broadcast. Interesting focus on the raising of mediocre talent. I don't think that you r in a minority when realising their lack of talent and their processing by others. I think MOST people do, but in much of society it seems to encourage the idea of doing whatever is necessary to get the 'prize' and then sidelining people who have an 'original' talent, or alternatively just stealing stuff from talents and then lawyering them out of the picture.
What also seems to come with the new' talents' are the new body movements, e.g.. the Jerky dancing, semi-spasmodic, perhaps 'drugged out'. I checked Timberlake and Jackson going through some trauma together, wow - psychiatric ward.
Subtler movements, gesturing, ways of speaking all 'seem' to be pushed through these 'stars' who seem to be the product of canny parents.
I liked the bit when u tried to remember the name of the Porn film producer, u could recall only DARK or BLACK, but it sounded like a great title:
DARK BLACK the Porn Producer

Darn,

I'm out of the loop for a month and so much goes down.

I'm just tuning into the meaning of the Phoenix synchs and they are blowing my mind.

It's good to be back in the water.

Bliss,
