"Dark Phoenix" from The X-Men
There is yet ANOTHER Synchromystic mage in our midst. His name is Adam Star, and his specialty is esoteric readings of comic books. Talk about your hive mind collective building...BRING IT ON!
Anyway...Adam is currently doing an individual episode breakdown of the TV show "Heroes" (so if you are afraid of "spoilers" you might want to skip down to his previous posts). I HIGHLY recommend adding Adam to your list of reads.
"I am greatly interested in concepts of synchronicity and I have an unending interest in the esoteric, the secret or inner, meanings of symbols, intentional or otherwise in all forms of popular culture. In this blog I plan to explore some of the potential "deeper" connotations of super hero comic book characters, stories, images, movies and other works and products inspired by them. The sole purpose of this is fun, for me and for anyone else interested in looking at familiar things in unfamiliar ways. This blog is in no way concerned with being correct in any way. I'm quite prepared to make observations that are completely baseless or wrong. The purpose here is to explore the potential subtext of super hero comics with the imagination fully engaged. I welcome suggestions and presentation of your own insights and theories. My own observations may at times lean toward "conspiracy theory" related topics. I make no apology for this or any statements regarding religion, history or politics."

It's killing me that I can't quickly I.D. the artist who painted that beautiful image of the Dark Phoenix. I want to say Julie Bell, but I don't think that's right...

There's a picture of the fiery Marvel Comics character "Phoenix" at the beginning of your latest article, there's presently a massive nuclear terrorist attack simulation going on in Portland and PHOENIX, Goro Adachi keeps talking about the city of Phoenix and repeating Phoenix/Solar Resurrection patterns on his site...
Is the fabric of reality itself trying to tell us that Phoenix will go nuclear soon? Yikes.
I have been keeping a close eye on Goro's recent work, which I find fascinating. I find it hard to believe that they would choose to nuke Phoenix personally because I think it is a HIGHLY important city to them. Unless it's value to them was as a sacrifice all along. I guess ONLY time will tell.
