The Red Cross (Busy as Bees these days) has planned a creepy little demonstration for you, staring today in Union Square (hmm...) which they hope will "shake" things up a bit with the general apathy in regards to Earthquake preparedness. You don't say...
"Super Crack" Union Square, Geary and Powell, SF; (415) 427-8183. 8am-2pm, free. Through Aug 23. What's this I hear about "super crack" in Union Square? Is this like when 20/20 got all up in arms about Mexican ice being "super meth"? Are crackheads going to hover six inches off the ground with their heads spinning à la Linda Blair in The Exorcist? Oh, it's not like that at all, huh? The "Super Crack" is a simulated earthquake fissure installed in Union Square by the Red Cross, complete with disaster preparedness training (Mon/20, 12:30pm; Tues/21 and Aug 23, 2pm) and disaster kits for sale. Hmm. They've really got to be careful how they advertise this.*

It just was being unveiled as of today. I hope to have some pictures as soon as they start to appear.
I'm contacting my friends in S.F. to get some photos of this event. Perfect time for spooking the public, with the SPP 3rd part meeting commensing in Canada. Pay no mind to the 'Big Boys' Fear, Fear more Fear. I sense the H.A.A.R.P. in all these earthquakes, stange storms etc. Peace, Joshua
well, we're back in SF.... we'll probably be around that area tomorrow so ill snap some pictures for sure and get some handouts to read over...
Yum Yum, all those donations, tax deductable for the big boys, and then all the concerned citizen sized ones. Lovely.
Note that the Red Cross initiates the classic 'there will be a [ disaster of choice] . Its inevitable syndrome. If u donate to us perhaps God will save u , like those donations u used to make to the Church.'
Red X insurance.
might be interesting to plot the Quakes and Mine accidents on a Dymaxion Map, check their general arrangement
HATE - ASH - BURY
50 years of underground/ocean Nuke testing
Yeah Josh, the new mantra 'Fear fear'
I LOVE your idea to map these events!
Try the Dymaxion map as it shows a different world and I think will unlock patterns that the incoherent maps given to the general public don't, can't.
Funny that San francisco crops up, with its earthquake record.
Whose Dewey?
If you click on the Dewey text under the photo it will take you to the wikipedia entry for Admiral Dewey's entry.
